CM Nitish Kumar :127 developmental schemes were inaugurated and foundation stones were laid
CM Nitish Kumar today, in the course of Pragati Yatra, presented schemes worth about Rs 109 crore to Siwan district. The Chief Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 127 developmental schemes through remote. These include the inauguration of 122 schemes at a cost of Rs 83 crore 47 lakh 37 thousand and the foundation stone laying of 5 schemes at a cost of Rs 25 crore 38 lakh 27 thousand.
CM Nitish Kumar inspected the site of the proposed Siwan Bypass in village Narayanpur of Pachrukhi block during the Pragati Yatra. The officials gave detailed information to the Chief Minister about the proposed Siwan Bypass through the map.The work of widening and strengthening of the proposed road from Mohammadpurmod (NH-531) to Chhapia-Tedhighat-Gopalpur (NH-227A) including ROB is to be done. The total length of this proposed road is 13.80 km. The Chief Minister directed the officials to start the work of this proposed road as soon as possible. After its construction, traffic will become easier. People will also get relief from the problem of traffic jam. After this, the Chief Minister inspected the pond beautified under the Jal-Jeevan Hariyali Abhiyan in village Karhanu of Machakna Panchayat located in Hussainganj block of Siwan district. During this, the Chief Minister released fish seeds in the pond. While inspecting the pond, the Chief Minister instructed the officials to construct a stepped ghat around this pond.This will provide convenience to the people. Tree plantation has been done in a good manner all around the pond. This is a good thing. We have started Jal-Jeevan-Hariyali Abhiyan from the year 2019 and are working on the beautification and renovation of all public ponds, ponds, wells etc.
CM Nitish Kumar inspected the Anganwadi Centre in Ward No. 2 of Karhanu village and inquired about the education of children. The Chief Minister also inspected the Additional Primary Health Centre Karhanu, Hussainganj and took stock of the OPD room, tele medicine etc.During this, the Chief Minister said that since the year 2006, we have been distributing free medicines to patients in all government hospitals. A lot of work has been done in the field of health after the year 2005. So that people do not face any inconvenience in getting treatment. The Chief Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stone by unveiling the plaque related to several development schemes of Siwan district through remote.The Chief Minister inaugurated the public playground constructed under MNREGA at a cost of Rs 8.74 lakh in the premises of Upgraded Middle School Karhanu by cutting the ribbon and unveiling the plaque.
CM Nitish Kumar inspected the Public Service Center and Panchayat Government Building Machkana and took stock of the Sarpanch Court, library etc. The Chief Minister inaugurated the MNREGA Haat constructed at a cost of Rs 7.18 lakh in the premises of Karhanu Bazaar by unveiling the stone plaque.On this occasion, the Chief Minister visited the stalls set up by Jeevika sisters and various departments. During this, CM Nitish Kumar presented a symbolic cheque of Rs 51 crore to Jeevika sisters under Basgeet Parcha, Sustainable Livelihood Scheme and Project FundAlong with this, the Chief Minister handed over the keys of e-rickshaws under the Sustainable Livelihood Scheme, a symbolic cheque of Rs. 42 lakh 6 thousand 736 as incentive amount to 19 Jeevika sisters, a symbolic cheque of Rs. 101 crore through bank linkage to 3,51,506 Jeevika sisters associated with 29 thousand 663 self-help groups, Keys of Jeevika Bhawan, symbolic cheque of Mukhyamantri Chaur Vikas Yojana, keys of Mukhyamantri Block Parivahan Yojana, keys of battery-operated vehicle under Mukhyamantri Divyaangjan Empowerment Chhatra Yojana, Bihar Student Credit Card, Ayushman Vaya Vandana Card were given to the beneficiaries.
The Chief Minister participated in the dialogue program of Jeevika Didi organized during the Pragati Yatra. Jeevika Didi shared their experience with CM Nitish Kumar and said that self-help groups have brought a lot of change in our lives.We are doing many types of work by joining self-help groups. We are earning good income from this.This has increased the respect of women in the society. Apart from bank loans, we also get financial help from the project to do business. Jeevika has changed our lives. All of us women are grateful to you.
CM Nitish Kumar said that when he was an MP and a minister at the centre, he used to visit many places and see the work of self-help groups. When his government was formed in 2005, in 2006, he took a loan from the World Bank and started increasing the number of self-help groups. Now the number of self-help groups has increased to 10 lakh 61 thousand, with 1 crore 31 lakh women associated with them. He said that we gave the name Jeevika to the women associated with self-help groups. Inspired by this, the central government of that time started a scheme called Aajeevika. Wherever we go, we talk to Jeevika sisters.And we become aware of their problems. Earlier women did not go out of the house. Now they are doing very good work by joining self-help groups. Due to which they are also earning income. They have also started talking to people in a good manner.
The Chief Minister inaugurated the educational cum administrative building of the newly built Government Extremely Backward Class Girls Residential Plus Two High School with 520 seats at Bhaisakhal in Jiradei block under Siwan district through remote.
CM Nitish Kumar inspected the site of widening and strengthening work of the proposed Siwan-Andar road. The total length of this road is 16.250 km. Through the map, the officials gave detailed information about this road to the Chief Minister.
