Former Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar has moved out of his official residence and shifted to a private farmhouse in Chhatarpur, south Delhi,
Jagdeep Dhankhar ,six weeks after resigning from the post, officials told PTI. The farmhouse, located in the Gadaipur area of Chhatarpur, belongs to INLD leader Abhay Chautala.
According to officials, Dhankhar will stay at the farmhouse temporarily until he is allotted a Type-VIII government residence, which he is entitled to as a former Vice President.
Dhankhar, who stepped down on July 21 citing health reasons, had been living at the Vice President’s Enclave in Delhi since his resignation. He had moved into the newly built Vice President’s Enclave on Church Road, near Parliament, in April last year. The residence, part of the Central Vista redevelopment project, had served as both his home and office for about 15 months.
Sources close to Dhankhar told PTI that he has been spending his time with family, playing table tennis, and practising yoga.
