Jen Majura cited various factors influencing her choice, including rapid AI developments, shifts within the industry, and broader societal changes. “Instead of wasting another year of my life constantly hoping for new energy, drive and creativity, I‘ve reached a point in my life where I can confidently lean back in peace,” she wrote.
Reflecting on her career, Jen Majura expressed gratitude for the countless experiences, tours, shows, and moments she has enjoyed. However, she acknowledged that the music landscape has transformed dramatically, and she no longer identifies with its current attitudes and values.
Though stepping away for now, Jen Majura left the door open for future musical projects. “I am not saying that I will never create any music again, whether recorded or live – but for now I feel there are healthier and better things to fill my life with good vibes,” she explained.
As a final gift to her fans, Majura released four previously unheard singles—demo tracks co-written with guitarist Dennis Hormes over a decade ago. Discovering the recordings while cleaning her computer, she felt they deserved to be shared with her followers.
