Filmmaker Karan Johar attended the London screening of the critically acclaimed drama “Homebound”, directed by Neeraj Ghaywan, in an event hosted by celebrated filmmaker Gurinder Chadha. The screening also featured the film’s lead actors, Ishaan Khatter and Vishal Jethwa, drawing attention from cinephiles and Bollywood fans alike.

Earlier this month, the film’s international journey began with a screening in Los Angeles, which saw the presence of Netflix’s Chief Content Officer Bela Bajaria along with the main cast and crew. Adding to the international attention, legendary filmmaker Martin Scorsese, who serves as the Executive Producer of “Homebound”, hosted a special screening in New York City, further cementing the film’s global presence.

Neeraj Ghaywan spoke about the essence of the movie, stating, “Rooted in the love for our land and our people, it carries the essence of the home we all share. To take our stories to the world and represent India at one of the biggest global stages for cinema is both humbling and a matter of pride, and for this, I’m deeply grateful.”
