Karnal, Haryana: Numerous passenger trains, including Amarpali and Unchahar, have been impacted by the stoppage.
Karnal, Haryana: Many freight train containers drifted off the tracks close to railway lines, disrupting and delaying traffic on the heavily used Delhi-Ambala route.
Between 4 and 4.30 am, a freight train in the Karnal region of Haryana collided with an object close to Taraori.
Authorities responded to the event right away, stopping train service in both directions while they evaluated the situation. A crucial portion of the Delhi-Ambala route is impacted.
There have been significant disruptions to train services, but no casualties or injuries have been recorded.
To clear the containers and reestablish track performance, railroad officials have pushed personnel and equipment into duty. Investigations are being conducted to find the source of the event, which is thought to have been caused by either a human error or a potential technical malfunction.
“The railway officials are looking into the circumstances behind the eight containers that fell off. The event occurred near Taraori in Karnal, while the train was traveling from Ambala to Delhi, according to a senior railway officer.
He claimed that there has been an impact on rail traffic along the Ambala-Delhi railway corridor. “Efforts are on to restore the traffic, but it is going to take a few hours more,” he stated.
“We are working tirelessly to clear the tracks and restore services as soon as possible,” he stated.
Amarpali and Unchahar are two of the passenger trains that have been impacted by the stoppage. Many passengers are stuck at Karnal station, causing delays and inconvenience.
