Hon’ble Chief Minister of Kerala, CM Pinarayi Vijayan, inaugurated the Advanced Cybersecurity Operations Centre (SOC) of the Kerala Police Cyber Division via video conferencing. This initiative aims to enhance cybersecurity measures for police systems and critical infrastructure.
Developed by the Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DOT), the premier R&D center under the Department of Telecommunications (DoT), Ministry of Communications, Government of India, the SOC is powered by TRINETRA, an AI-driven, indigenous cybersecurity solution. Designed to protect enterprises and critical sectors, TRINETRA enables organizations to establish a comprehensive cybersecurity framework, monitoring endpoints, network traffic, and user behavior while proactively detecting vulnerabilities, anomalies, and cyber threats.
The 24×7 SOC will be instrumental in securing police headquarters, city commissionerates, and police stations, ensuring cyber threat detection, data protection, and digital infrastructure resilience. This marks a significant advancement in Kerala Police’s cybersecurity capabilities.
The offline inaugural event was attended by Hon. MLA Kadakampally Surendran, Dr. Pankaj Kumar Dalela (Executive Vice President, C-DOT), Councilor Sridevi A., Technopark CEO Sanjeev Nair, G-Tech Secretary Sreekumar V., Cyber Operation SP Ankit Ashokan, DySP Arunkumar S., and Cyber Dome Inspector Krishnan Potty KG.
