Kisan Andolan: Today marks the fifth day that farm union members have blocked train tracks at the Shambhu railway station, demanding the release of three farmers who were arrested by the Haryana Police.
Train travel to and from Punjab has been impacted as a result. In addition to bothering passengers, this has resulted in financial losses.
Sarwan Singh Pandher, the protest leader from the farm, declared that they will not stop until the police release the farmers who have been detained.
Kisan Andolan: At the borders of Shambhu and Khanauri, farmers have been demonstrating under the banners of the non-political Samyukt Kisan Morcha and Kisan Mazdoor Morcha. Since security forces stopped the farmers’ “Dilli Chalo” march on February 13, they have remained at the borders of Shambhu and Khanauri.
