Kohrra Season 2: Netflix’s crime drama Kohrra is back with its highly anticipated second season, bringing Barun Sobti back as ASI Amarpal Garundi and introducing Mona Singh as the new SI Dhanwant Kaur. The recently released trailer offers fans a glimpse into the foggy, suspense-filled world of Punjab’s Dalerpura, where lies, betrayal, and murder intertwine.
The Kohrra Season 2 trailer opens with the chilling discovery of a woman (Pooja Bhamrrah) dead in her brother’s (Anurag Arora) barn. Her estranged husband (Rannvijay Singha) resides in the US with their children. As the investigation unfolds, secrets of an abusive marriage emerge, while an expanding list of suspects—including the deceased’s dance partner—adds layers of complexity to the narrative. Amidst it all, ASI Amarpal Garundi and SI Dhanwant Kaur relentlessly pursue the truth.

Barun Sobti, reprising his role as Amarpal, shared insights into the new season: “Garundi begins this season hoping to start afresh, but in a world like Kohrra, the past never quite lets go. The mystery this time is denser and more layered, and that complexity reflects in Garundi’s own journey. Season 2 pushed me as an actor in new ways, and I’m excited for viewers to return to this world and experience how the story unfolds.”
Mona Singh, stepping in as Dhanwant Kaur, said, “Stepping into the world of Kohrra was both exciting and daunting because of how thoughtfully it is written. Dhanwant is a woman of few words but immense resolve, navigating loss, responsibility, and the constant need to prove herself. I look forward to audiences experiencing her journey within the intense world of Kohrra.”
Produced by A Film Squad in association with Act Three, Kohrra Season 2 sees Sudip Sharma debuting as director alongside Faisal Rahman. The season is also produced by Saurabh Malhotra, Sudip Sharma, Manuj Mittra, and Tina Tharwani.
Kohrra Season 2 is set to release on Netflix on 11 February 2026, promising viewers an intense, layered whodunnit that explores the darker corners of human nature, small-town secrets, and the relentless pursuit of justice.
Fans of the series are eagerly waiting to see how the new investigator Dhanwant Kaur navigates the complex mysteries alongside Amarpal Garundi in this gripping crime drama.
