Chief Minister of Punjab Bhagwant Singh Mann expressed his deep sadness and grief on Thursday over the deaths of several Indians in the incident in Kuwait on Wednesday, when a large fire destroyed a multi-story structure primarily occupied by our people.
The Chief Minister expressed his condolences in a message, describing the occurrence as terrible and unfortunate, as many Indians lost their lives as a result of inhaling smoke while they slept. He claimed that numerous innocent lives had been lost in that tragic event, and numerous others had been injured.
Bhagwant Singh Mann expressed his deepest sympathies to the bereaved families and prayed to God for the souls of the deceased to rest in peace forever.
In this time of difficulty, the Chief Minister added, the state government is available to help affected families. Bhagwant Singh Mann expressed his great sorrow at hearing of this unfortunate event that took the lives of our sons of soil and prayed to God for strength and comfort to help the bereaved families deal with this heartbreaking loss. He prayed for the quick recovery of those injured in this unfortunate incident and added that Punjabis’ thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved families during this difficult time.
