Lok Sabha Elections 2024: The nomination papers for the fourth phase of the Lok Sabha Elections-2024 were examined on Friday, in accordance with the election timetable. These papers were received in eight of the parliamentary constituencies. Ninety candidates’ nomination papers were deemed to be valid after examination. After careful examination, the nomination papers of eleven candidates were found to be in violation of the law.

According to Chief Electoral Officer Shri Anupam Rajan, following examination, nine candidates’ nomination papers for Lok Sabha parliamentary constituencies number 21 Dewas (SC), number 22 Ujjain (SC), number 23 Mandsaur, number 24 Ratlam (ST), number 25 Dhar (ST), number 26 Indore, number 27 Khargone (ST), and number 28 Khandwa were among the fourteen candidates whose nominations were deemed legitimate. Following examination on Friday, the nominations of three candidates in Lok Sabha Parliamentary Constituency No. 26 Indore and two candidates each in Nos. 22 Ujjain (SC), No. 23 Mandsaur, No. 24 Ratlam (ST), and No. 25 Dhar (ST) were rejected because they did not meet the requirements.

According to Chief Electoral Officer Shri Rajan, the Election Commission of India’s website (https://affidavit.eci.gov.in/) has the affidavits and other details of the candidates who have submitted nomination papers.
