BSP Chief Mayawati Accuses BJP And Congress Of Casteist, Communal, And Capitalist Mindsets

Lok Sabha Elections: Mayawati, the chief of the BSP, had earlier in the day accused the BJP of politicising investigative agencies, echoing what the Congress had done in the past. She brought attention to the rising rates of unemployment and poverty in the nation during the previous two years when speaking at a Lok Sabha election rally.

Mayawati claimed that the BJP would find it difficult to win in free and fair elections if electronic voting machines (EVMs) were not tampered with. She chastised the BJP government for not doing more to solve problems like unemployment, poverty, and price increases.

Mayawati emphasized, “While the Center is providing rations to the extremely poor, the real solution lies in creating employment.” She voiced worries about the nation’s border security and the corruption’s continued existence.

Mayawati pointed out that the BJP had promised ‘achhe din’ for the poor, weaker sectors of society, middle class, and labourers, but that promise had not come to pass. She charged that the BJP put the interests of rich people and capitalists ahead of their own.

Mayawati reminded the assembly that the BSP came into being as a result of the Congress’s disregard for the rights of tribal people, Dalits, and other members of the lower classes. she charged that the BJP and Congress shared casteist, sectarian, and capitalist ideologies.

Mayawati called on citizens to stop the BJP and Congress from taking back power, saying, “Both parties are using tactics to retain power while minorities are facing persecution.”
