The district police have suggested that Dharmendra, a 30-year-old bus driver for GL Public School in Kanina, have his license revoked.
The license was granted in 2016 by the Narnaul Regional Transport Authorities (RTA). Following the license cancellation, he would be prohibited from operating a commercial vehicle.
According to a police officer, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) looking into the event had made the suggestion. The head of the Kanina DSP Mohinder Singh is supported by the SHO, the City Police Station, Kanina, and the CIA Mahendragarh and Narnaul in-charges.
According to the investigation, the bus that caused the accident was challaned in 2023 and fined Rs 15,000 for operating it without a fitness certificate and failing to pay taxes. The officer stated, “One more guy who drank alcohol in the bus with Dharmendra was caught today.

Thus far, six individuals have been taken into custody, comprising the principal, secretary, driver, and three of his friends. The fourth buddy is still being sought after. He claimed that all three of them were alcoholics and had no steady source of income.
Sources claim that yesterday, at a meeting with Priyank Kanoongo, the chairman of the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights, district administrative officials informed him that the school had eighteen buses in total, most of which did not adhere to the standards outlined in the Surakshit School Vahan Policy. A portion of them had been seized.
