During the launch event of Poison Baby in Mumbai, Malaika praised her son as a talented dancer and expressed gratitude for his inherited dancing genes. Sharing that Arhaan often learns new dance steps and eagerly invites her to join him, Malaika said, “He’s fab when he dances. He’s superb. Thank God he’s got my dancing genes in him.”
She also revealed that Arhaan’s all-time favorite song of hers is Munni Badnaam Hui, a track that catapulted Malaika to fame alongside Salman Khan. While Arhaan enjoys watching his mother perform, he isn’t shy about giving honest feedback. Malaika laughed, “He’ll be like, ‘Come on, Mom, let’s do this together,’ and then he’ll make fun of me for the entire day. He’ll say, ‘Please, you can’t dance like that.’”

The song features her alongside Rashmika Mandanna and is part of the upcoming horror-comedy Thamma, directed by Aditya Sarpotdar. Malaika described the choreography as a blend of moves and expressions designed to feel “dangerous, beautiful, and untamed—all at the same time.”
The song Poison Baby, sung by Jasmine Sandlas, Sachin-Jigar, and Divya Kumar, marks Malaika’s return to leading full-fledged dance numbers after a long hiatus. The film Thamma, produced by Dinesh Vijan and Amar Kaushik, is the fifth installment in the Maddock horror-comedy universe, following hits like Stree and Bhediya. It stars Ayushmann Khurrana in the lead role with Nawazuddin Siddiqui as the antagonist and is set for release this Diwali, October 21, 2025.
