Declares that the state government is dedicated to the welfare of Martyr families.

On Tuesday, Bhagwant Singh Mann, the chief minister of Punjab, gave cheques totaling one crore rupees to the family of martyr Naik Surinder Singh, who died in the line of duty while serving in the Indian Army.

As the Chief Minister gave the martyr’s family the check in the village of Duddian (Munak), he remarked that the brave son of the state had become a martyr while defending his homeland. Nevertheless, he claimed that he was unable to visit and provide these checks to the struggling family because of the Model Code of Conduct’s adoption. However, Bhagwant Singh Mann asserted that he had honored his government’s promise to provide the family the check as soon as the Model Code of Conduct was lifted.

According to the Chief Minister, the family is receiving financial support as a gesture of gratitude for the hero’s ultimate sacrifice on behalf of the nation. According to Bhagwant Singh Mann, the martyr who gave his life in defense of the nation and its citizens is owed by the whole country. According to him, the state government’s modest move is a recognition of this son of the soil’s enormous contribution to upholding the nation’s unity, integrity, and sovereignty.
