Mayawati Attacks Former Party MP
Mayawati stated that although a single Muslim member may have deceived them, the community as a whole was not held responsible.
BSP Chief Mayawati accused Danish Ali, the MP for Amroha and a former BSP leader, of betraying the people of the constituency and the party during separate election rallies in the western Uttar Pradesh districts of Ghaziabad and Amroha. She added that it will be challenging for the BJP, which is now in power, to win the Lok Sabha elections this time around if electronic voting machines (EVMs) are not tampered with.
Ali, who joined the Congress and is currently running from Amroha, was kicked out of the BSP earlier this year for allegedly engaging in anti-party actions. Mayawati declared in Amroha that he had abandoned the party and the people without naming him.
Speaking at an Amroha rally in favor of BSP candidate Mujahid Hussain, Mayawati stated that although a single Muslim person had deceived them, the community as a whole was not held responsible. Rather, Mujahid Hussain has been nominated as their candidate.

Mayawati, who was critical of the Congress, emphasized that the party’s policies and workplace culture were to blame for the party’s loss of support in various regions of the nation. She also attacked the BJP, denouncing its policies that are capitalist, casteist, and communal. She claimed that because of these unmet promises and inadequacies, the party will have a difficult time winning the parliamentary election.
Mayawati Slams BJP In Rally
“The BJP will not sail through easily in the polls if EVMs are not tampered with”, she claimed.
With accusations resembling those of the Congress, Mayawati unleashed a vicious assault on the ruling BJP, charging it with politicising central investigative agencies and giving preference to the interests of favoured capitalists. She blamed the party’s leadership for the predicament of Muslims and other minorities, accusing the BJP-RSS government of ignoring their development.
In addition, she said that crimes are being committed in the name of Hindutva. The BSP, which has previously contested the election in alliance with the Samajwadi Party, has chosen to run on its own this time.
The comments made by Mayawati are set against the backdrop of Kanwar Singh Tanwar’s triumph in 2014 and subsequent defeat in 2019. During the BSP candidate Nand Kishore Pundir’s support rally in Ghaziabad, Mayawati charged that the BJP was ignoring the Kshatriya community.
Despite having a sizable population in the area, Mayawati criticized the BJP and other parties for ignoring the Kshatriya community in Western Uttar Pradesh. She emphasized that the BSP is dedicated to giving all communities, especially the Kshatriya community, appropriate representation when it comes to ticket distribution.
Mayawati brought attention to the BJP’s choice to substitute former UP minister Atul Garg with Kshatriya community member and Ghaziabad MP V K Singh. She conveyed her appreciation to the Kshatriya community for their choice to back the political party that offers their community the greatest representation in the Lok Sabha elections.
Furthermore, Mayawati made it clear that the BSP’s choice of Nand Kishore Pundir to represent the Ghaziabad seat does not imply disregard for the Sikh minority.
Anshay Kalra, a member of the Punjabi community, was supposed to receive a ticket, according to Mayawati, but he was granted one from Lakhimpur Kheri because of the quantity of Sikh votes.
She mentioned the Gurjar community and mentioned that one of its members, Praveen Bainsla, had received a ticket from Baghpat. In the second phase of the Lok Sabha elections, polling places will be in Amroha and Ghaziabad on April 26.
