Haryana’s Public Health Engineering and Public Works Minister Ranbir Gangwa , emphasized that maintaining high standards in development works is non-negotiable. He stated that strict action will be taken against those using substandard materials, and officials must ensure that public grievances are promptly addressed at their level to reduce the burden on the Grievance Redressal Committee.
Minister Ranbir Gangwa made these remarks while chairing the District Public Relations and Grievance Redressal Committee meeting in Karnal on Monday.
During the meeting, the Minister reviewed 18 complaints, resolving 8 cases on the spot and directing that the remaining 10 cases be addressed quickly. He instructed concerned officials to submit comprehensive reports on these matters in the next meeting.
Speaking to the media afterward, Sh. He also thanked Union Minister Manohar Lal, crediting him for initiating major reforms during his tenure as Chief Minister, which eliminated the “parchi-kharchi” (recommendation and bribe) culture in job recruitment.
He noted that the BJP has come to power in Haryana for a third consecutive term, and shortly after taking office, CM Saini sanctioned 25,000 government jobs for the youth.
The Minister also shared updates on drain and sewer cleaning, confirming that relevant departments are actively engaged in these efforts.
On the SYL (Sutlej-Yamuna Link) canal issue, he affirmed that the Supreme Court’s verdict supports Haryana, and urged Punjab to comply with the order, especially considering the acute water shortage in Southern Haryana.
