Minister Ravjot Singh Pledges Prompt Action on Genuine Demands of Sanitation Workers and Sewermen Union

Punjab Local Government Minister Ravjot Singh assured representatives of the Sanitation Workers and Sewermen Union that their genuine demands will be addressed without delay.

During a meeting held at the Municipal Building, alongside Additional Chief Secretary for Local Government Sh. Tejvir Singh and Punjab State Safai Commission Chairman Sh. Chandan Grewal, Dr. Singh attentively heard the union’s concerns and promised prompt and sympathetic resolution.

Minister Ravjot Singh emphasized the government’s unwavering commitment to the welfare of every section of society and directed officials to coordinate with concerned departments to facilitate joint meetings aimed at finding practical and effective solutions.

Calling sanitation workers and sewermen the backbone of the department, the minister acknowledged their vital role in the mission to keep Punjab’s cities clean and garbage-free.

Minister Ravjot Singh assured that all valid issues under the purview of municipal committees, corporations, or the department itself will be resolved quickly. For demands requiring intervention at the state level or other departments, he pledged swift and necessary action through coordinated efforts and upcoming follow-up meetings.
