Minister Sharma : The Minister of State (I / C) for Environment and Forests, Shri Sanjay Sharma felicitated meritorious children of the Vaishnava Brahmin Samaj at the state level Pratibha Samman Samaroh held at Alwar on Sunday.
Minister Sharma said that our young generation has an important role to play in realising the goal of a developed India. He said that it is the commitment of the state government to provide skill and quality education to the young generation and work with the spirit of ‘Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas’ by taking every section of the society along. He said that honouring talented children on behalf of the society is inspiring and it encourages children and girls. Emphasizing on girl child education, he said that educated daughters play an important role in bringing social change and any society can truly progress only by encouraging girl child education.
The Minister of State (I / C) for Forest and Environment said that under the Hariyalo Rajasthan Abhiyan, the State Government had planted 7 crore 35 lakh saplings in the State last year and has set a target of planting 10 crore saplings this year. This goal will be achieved through public participation. He said that nature has given us a lot, now is the right time to conserve the environment by planting trees. Therefore, every person should not only plant but also take care of them. He congratulated the students and wished a bright future for them. After this, he gave the message of environmental protection by planting a sapling as part of his pledge to plant a sapling every day at the state nursery Mungska.
On this occasion President of Delhi SGPC, Shri Manjinder Singh Sirsa, Principal of Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Khalsa College Dr Jaswinder Singh, Former Rajya Sabha Member and currently Chairman, governing body of Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Khalsa College Shri S. Tarlochan Singh and Former Vice Chancellor of Punjabi University Patiala Dr Jaspal Singh were also present.
