Haryana Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister Shyam Singh Rana, emphasized India’s rich heritage of saints and sages, who have provided guidance on leading a meaningful life.
Speaking as the Chief Guest at the foundation stone laying ceremony of ‘Prabhu Milan Dham,’ organized by the Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya in Karnal, he expressed his joy in participating in such spiritual gatherings, stating that they bring peace and divine blessings. He stressed that embracing these values is essential for India to achieve the status of ‘Vishwaguru’ (global leader).
Citing Lord Krishna’s teachings, Rana urged people to rise above personal preferences and work selflessly, believing that adherence to this principle will accelerate India’s journey toward becoming a ‘Vishwaguru.’ He also highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of making India a developed nation by 2047, emphasizing that collective efforts are key to realizing this goal.
Rana further underscored the significance of a strong economy in national progress. He asserted that for India to advance from the fifth to the third-largest global economy, people must embrace a peaceful and spiritual approach. He also acknowledged the crucial role of common citizens in the nation’s development.
Budget to Offer Significant Support for Farmers
Responding to a query, Rana stated that Chief Minister and Finance Minister Nayab Singh Saini will present the state budget on Monday, which is expected to include substantial benefits for farmers.
Addressing concerns about hailstorm damage, he advised farmers to register on the e-Kshatipurti portal to receive financial assistance.
