Mohali launches ₹70 crore working women hostel in Sector 66 with safe housing, crèche and modern facilities for working women.

In a significant step towards women safety and empowerment, the foundation stone of a ₹70 crore Working Women Hostel was laid in Sector 66, Mohali. The project is being developed under the leadership of Punjab Cabinet Minister Dr. Baljit Kaur as part of the state government’s welfare initiatives.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Baljit Kaur stated that the Punjab government is continuously taking concrete steps to empower women. She emphasized that providing safe housing is a top priority to ensure women can live and work with dignity and security.
