Kaif highlighted that Washington Sundar, the all-rounder, is not being fully utilized as a bowler in the Indian team. “The management needs to clarify Washington Sundar’s role. He is not even half of Ashwin when it comes to spin skills. Across formats, under different captains, he has never been given full overs. In tight situations, the team goes to Jadeja or Kuldeep, showing a lack of trust in Sundar’s wicket-taking ability,” Kaif said on his YouTube channel.

Mohammad Kaif emphasized that Washington Sundar should focus on one primary role in the team. “Currently, he is being asked to bat and bowl, which adds unnecessary pressure.
