Harbhajan Singh ETO News: Punjab’s Mothers-Daughters Respect Scheme is witnessing strong participation from women across the state, with growing enthusiasm for the initiative aimed at empowering eligible beneficiaries. As part of its implementation strategy, the state government has successfully completed a dedicated training session for “Sakhis” in Jandiala Guru to ensure smooth delivery of benefits.
Cabinet Minister Harbhajan Singh ETO attended the training session and reviewed the progress of the scheme’s ground-level execution.
Strong Women Participation Across Punjab
According to officials, women across Punjab are actively coming forward to support and participate in the Mothers-Daughters Respect Scheme. The training of “Sakhis” is designed to strengthen outreach at the grassroots level and ensure that every eligible woman receives timely benefits.
The initiative reflects the government’s focus on inclusive welfare delivery and transparent implementation.

Benefits to Begin from July 1
Cabinet Minister Harbhajan Singh ETO announced that financial benefits under the scheme will begin from July 1. He expressed satisfaction over the completion of the training session and assured that the government is fully committed to resolving any issues faced by beneficiaries.
He further stated that officials will remain actively engaged to ensure that no eligible woman is left out of the scheme.
Government Focus on Transparent Implementation
The Punjab government aims to ensure that the scheme is not just implemented on paper but effectively reaches every deserving household. Continuous monitoring and training programs are being conducted to strengthen execution at the field level.
