MP Chief Minister Dr. Yadav took part in the Deepdan Mahotsav at Patel Nagar ISKCON Temple.
MP Chief Minister Dr. Yadav has said that many festivals in the state like Janmashtami, Vijayadashami and Govardhan Puja etc. have been celebrated jointly by the government and the society. In this sequence, the state government will celebrate Geeta Jayanti on a grand scale in the entire state.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav today participated in the consecration of the idols of Shri Radhavallabh ji and the lamp donation festival at the ISKCON temple in Patel Nagar. On this occasion, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav congratulated the devotees.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that about 20 years ago, when the ISKCON temple was started in Ujjain, he had participated in the program in the presence of Swami Bhakta Niwas Ji. Today again I have the privilege of participating in this program with him. He has graciously come here from England.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the Madhya Pradesh government will make all those places where the feet of Lord Shri Krishna lie, as pilgrimage sites. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav congratulated the organizers for this excellent event organized on Kartik Purnima.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav picked up Krishnaprem, a five and a half year old boy engrossed in devotion in the ISKCON temple complex, in his lap and affectionately caressed him. Initially Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was welcomed. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav bowed before the statue of Lord Krishna in the temple. Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Backward Class Welfare, Smt. Krishna Gaur was present in the program.
