MP Chief Minister Dr. Yadav visits Gujarat International Finance Tech-City

MP Chief Minister Dr. Yadav has said that GIFT City (Gujarat International Finance Tech-City) is an ambitious project and an important step towards making India a global financial centre. GIFT City, which is taking shape as per Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s vision, will not only provide better opportunities to investors but will also strengthen the Indian economy. Through this, India will effectively conduct activities as a strong economic power while keeping pace with international business standards. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav visited India’s first Greenfield Smart City, India’s Financial Gateway and International Financial Services Center ‘Gujarat International Finance Tech-City’ (GIFT City) on the banks of Sabarmati River in Gandhi Nagar, Gujarat, and discussed with officials. While seeking special information regarding the arrangements made for cleanliness in GIFT City, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inspected the Automated Garbage and Waste Collection System and the Waste Tunnel.

The GIFT City established as a Special Economic Zone to make India a global financial center by promoting international financial and trade activities, was approved by the Government of India in 2007. It offers an ideal environment for leading financial services, such as banking, insurance, financial markets and technology services. The international financial market has been established in GIFT City, where global investors can carry out their trading activities and investments. Equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure, smart city technology and green energy systems, GIFT City offers high-quality offices, residential complexes, hotels and entertainment facilities.

CM Dashboard is an excellent example of use of technology to facilitate citizens

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that the Chief Minister Dashboard is an excellent example of the use of technology to improve the functioning of the government, facilitate citizens and improve the standard of living of the common people. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav expressed the above views after observing the functioning of Gujarat CM Dashboard in Gandhinagar and seeking information regarding its operation. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav sought information about the arrangements made for e-governance applications, web services, call centres, data collection from village and taluka level, data integration, data validation, performance measurement, feedback system and to be aware of beneficiary satisfaction based on feedback.

CM Dashboard helps increase transparency and get data in real-time

Notably the Gujarat CM Dashboard is a digital platform and is helpful in monitoring and evaluating various programmes, schemes, and progress of the state government. The dashboard has been developed to make the state administration transparent, effective, and accountable. The dashboard monitors and assesses the progress of the schemes, ensuring that the schemes are implemented in a timely and effective manner.

The dashboard also tracks key performance indicators of various government departments, which help measure the pace of development and governance of the state. The dashboard is also helpful in promoting transparency and getting data in real-time. The dashboard also helps improve performance in local administration, health, education, road construction and other important sectors.

Meeting with officials

During his stay in Gandhinagar, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav held a meeting with Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel and senior state officials and discussed important issues. During the discussion, the policy of setting up private partnership medical colleges, systematic development of cities through small town development schemes, promotion of petrochemicals and pharmaceuticals investment, incentive policy to increase the participation of new and renewable energy in the energy sector, operation of buses connecting remote and rural areas through state transport and Public Private Partnership (PPP) and semiconductor policy of Gujarat state were discussed
