Chief Minister Dr. Yadav : Madhya Pradesh will create a world record for Gita recitation on Gita Jayanti

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Gita Bhawans will be constructed in the urban bodies of Madhya Pradesh during next three years. Gita Jayanti Mahotsav is being organized by the state government in the entire state. The teachings of Karmavad are obtained from Shrimad Bhagavad Gita which were uttered by Lord Shri Krishna. Not only in India, people all over the world are following the teachings of Gita. Shri Krishna Patheya is being constructed in Madhya Pradesh, under which all the places related to Lord Shri Krishna present in the state will be developed as pilgrimages. Geeta ji will be included in the curriculum in Madhya Pradesh. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that on the occasion of Geeta Jayanti on 11th December, a world record of Gita recitation will be created by the Madhya Pradesh government through more than 5 thousand Bhagwat devotees in Bhopal and Ujjain. He called upon the organizers of the International Gita Mahotsav to join the Gita recitation virtually. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also urged to make Madhya Pradesh a coparticipant in next year’s International Geeta Mahotsav. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was expressing his views in the Sant Sammelan under the ongoing International Geeta Mahotsav in Kurukshetra (Haryana). The programme was attended by Punjab Governor Shri Gulab Chand Kataria, Swami Avadheshanand, Swami Ramdev, Swami Gyananand and Shri Champat Rai of Vishwa Hindu Parishad. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav extended congratulations for organizing the International Geeta Mahotsav.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav visits Geeta Gyan Sansthan
On this occasion, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav visited the temple for prayer located at Geeta Gyan Sansthan along with museum. He also visited the Haryana Pavilion built in Kurukshetra and the pavilion of the festival partner Orissa state. Notably, the International Geeta Mahotsav is organized by the Haryana Government on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Shrimad Bhagavad Geeta. During Geeta Mahotsav, various cultural, religious, and educational programmes centered on Shrimad Bhagavad Gita are organized.
Lord Shri Krishna established the importance of education
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the world is becoming enlightened with the wisdom of Shrimad Bhagavad Gita. The flag of Sanatan culture is flying high everywhere, and the entire world is benefiting from the teachings of Shrimad Bhagavad Geeta. Lord Shri Krishna established the importance of education. Lord Shri Krishna made Ujjain proud by visiting Sandipani Ashram to pursue education and also established that no matter how important a person is, he must pursue education.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the disciple is identified with his Guru, from this point of view Shrimad Bhagavad Geeta reveals the greatness of Acharya Sandipani and the sanctity of the Gurukul system and its advanced form. The wisdom of Gita from the mouth of Lord Shri Krishna amidst the fierce war shows the pride and cultural prosperity of education system on Indian soil. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav informed that arrangements have been made in Sandipani Ashram to acquaint the general public with all the pastimes of Lord Krishna. Along with this, a museum named Krishnayana has been developed in Ujjain.
Madhya Pradesh doubled the grant for cow shelters
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that activities were conducted on various topics related to the life of Lord Shri Krishna in educational institutions on Janmashtami in Madhya Pradesh. Janmashtami was organized with great pomp by the state government. Lord Shri Krishna has shown us a unique way of worshiping nature through Govardhan Puja. Accepting this, Govardhan Puja was organized everywhere in Madhya Pradesh. To take care of handicapped, destitute, and sick cows, it was decided that cow shelters in the state will be operated by the state government. The grant to cow shelters run by social organizations has been doubled. It has been made Rs 40 per cow instead of Rs 20. The state government will provide grants to those rearing more than 10 cows for milk production. This will increase the cattle population as well as the milk production capacity of the state and will also help in developing Gokul in every home. Madhya Pradesh contributes 9 percent to the country’s milk production, which we are determined to take to 20 percent.
Kshipra will flow from rainwater
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that preparations have been started for Simhastha to be held in 2028 in the state. In Ujjain, an expanded plan has been made to provide permanent space to Ashrams, Akharas, Mahamandaleshwar etc. in place of the temporary camps set up at Simhastha. With this, facilities will be available throughout the year like Haridwar. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav invited all the sants to attend Simhastha. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that due to the limited flow of water in Kshipra River, special arrangements have to be made for Simhastha sthan, in the previous years this arrangement was made by taking water from Gambhir Dam and Narmada River. Now the state government is trying to make the Kshipra river continuously flowing by storing rain water. With this, devotees will be able to take the holy dip throughout the year.
