MP Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that in the coming times, Madhya Pradesh will emerge as a new hub of science technology, information technology and services related to these areas in the country. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that science is being used in Madhya Pradesh from farming to finance, from manufacturing to medicine, from education to communication. Madhya Pradesh is making a significant contribution to the technology of the country.
Emphasis is being laid on public welfare through good governance, for which a digitalized system is being operated in the state government departments. Many innovations have also taken place. Investment in the IT and ITES sector is also increasing in Madhya Pradesh. Madhya Pradesh Council of Science and Technology is providing a platform for startup and innovation to students. Many works for public welfare are being done with the use of satellite imagery and Geographical Information System. The work and document registration of farmers like Khasra, Nomination, Batankan etc. is being done through Cyber Tehsil.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was virtually addressing the closing ceremony of the four-day Mahakaushal Science Fair and Arogya Expo-2024 in Jabalpur on Monday. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, while on his visit to Maharashtra, extended his best wishes for the event in Jabalpur.
Digital Innovation, Good Governance, and Public Welfare
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that to make cyber security effective in the state, Madhya Pradesh Computer Emergency Response Team (MP-CERT) has been formed under the Department of Science and Technology. All government departments have the Chief Information Security Officer registered. 105 such officers have been appointed. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that in Madhya Pradesh, while Science Center has been initiated in Jabalpur at a cost of more than Rs 17 crore, Science City has been started in Ujjain for Rs 230 crore. Experts from institutions like IITs will provide guidance. The first planetarium was started in the year 2013 and has been upgraded. 400 successful shows have been done this year in the new system developed with state-of-the-art 3D 4K technology. Similarly, new technology is being used for the state-of-the-art planetorium, space technology, use of drones and tap-water schemes to the process of property. Madhya Pradesh has got a new identity in the field of astronomy with the construction of an international-level observatory at Dongla in Ujjain.
India is becoming a superpower
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that India’s journey into space has evolved from bicycles and bullock carts to missions aimed at the Moon, Mars, and the Sun. If capable leaders like Prime Minister Shri Modi are with the scientists in encouraging them, then success is sure to be achieved. The Prime Minister has paved the way for research. Today, ISRO has showcased the advancements made in India’s space sector to the world. India is making its mark as a superpower. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that former Prime Minister Late Lal Bahadur Shastri gave the slogan of Jai Jawan- Jai Kisan. Bharat Ratna Late Atal Bihari Vajpayee gave the slogan of Jai Vigyan. The present Prime Minister Shri Modi ji has emphasized on the basic mantra of Jai Anusandhan (research). There was a time when research was not considered important. It is not necessary that every research work is successful, but our Prime Minister Shri Modi has boosted the morale of scientists.
Dongla’s observatory is now international
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that currently the time is being calculated from Greenwich. Calculation of accurate time will be possible from the observatory located in Dongla. Vedic clock has been established in Ujjain. In the coming time, many such tasks will be taken by Madhya Pradesh. Conferences of budding scientists will also be held in the state.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the land of Jabalpur is known for innovations. Memories of Veerangana Durgavati are also associated with this place. CM Dr. Yadav congratulated and greeted all the people associated with this meaningful event through Mahakaushal Science Fair in Jabalpur in the field of science and technology. Public Works Minister Shri Rakesh Singh, MP Shri Ashish Dubey, Mayor Shri Jagat Bahadur Singh, Madhya Pradesh Science and Technology Council Chairman Shri Anil Kothari, Mahakaushal Science Council Chairman Shri SP Gautam and other council officials were present at the closing ceremony. Various stalls were set up in the exhibition related to science and innovation at the expo site. They were awarded by the guests.
