In a recent Cabinet meeting, CM Dr. Mohan Yadav emphasized the importance of improving work methodologies and fostering innovation within government departments to enhance service delivery. The CM stressed the need to complete citizens’ tasks on time and to a high standard. Under the CM Helpline initiative, districts and departments with the fewest complaints will be recognized, with zero-complaint districts receiving rewards.
Disciplinary Action Taken Against Government Employees for Negligence
During the review of the Samadhan Online grievance redressal system, CM Dr. Yadav took strict action against employees found guilty of negligence. Three officials were suspended, and 19 employees faced disciplinary action, including the withholding of increments for five government employees, and show-cause notices for six others. A departmental inquiry was also initiated against one employee for failing in their duties.
Recognition for Exceptional Performance in Grievance Resolution
During the meeting, CM Dr. Mohan Yadav congratulated several officers for their exemplary performance in resolving complaints through the CM Helpline. Notably, Raisen and Datia districts were recognized for their outstanding performance, while the Energy Department ranked first among state departments. Officers like Shri K.K. Dubey, Shri Venkatesh Nerkar, Dr. Nandita Nigam, and Shri Kamlesh Shukla were commended for achieving 100% resolution of CM Helpline complaints in September.

The Cabinet meeting reviewed various citizen complaints, including issues related to scholarships, nutrition grants, land compensation, and teacher attendance. Several cases were addressed, with penalties imposed for delays:

In Shivpuri, a mechanisation grant was reimbursed after a delay, and the responsible officers had their increments stopped. Ashoknagar saw the payment of ₹17.25 lakh in land compensation after five years, with punitive actions against the officer responsible.
