CM Mohan Yadav : ‘Anugunj’ serves as a platform for the expansion of our cultural heritage and young talents
CM Mohan Yadav said events like ‘Anugunj’, highlight their role in preserving cultural heritage and offering youth a valuable platform to showcase their talent. He emphasized that art is a powerful form of expression that can help reduce conflict. CM Mohan Yadav encouraged the youth to recognize their inner potential and pursue their dreams with determination. He assured that the state government is committed to providing proper support and encouragement to the youth in fields like education, art, literature, and sports. He also acknowledged the talent in government schools, recognizing the potential of children studying there.
CM Mohan Yadav participated in the state-level ‘Anugunj’ program 2024 at Government Subhash School of Excellenceon Friday evening. He praised the performances of all the participants. Delighted by their performances, CM Mohan Yadav announced that each of the 16 participating teams would receive Rs one lakhas a reward from the state government. Additionally, the Chief Minister honoured 7 mentors (experimental artists) who contributed to the fields of song-music, dance, instrumental music, and stage performance. He acknowledged their hard work and dedication, praising their significant contributions to the success of the programme.
Praising the grand event,CM Mohan Yadav said that the colourful event showcased the incredible talent of the youth in artistic performance and cultural preservation. The participants impressed everyone with their skills in songs, music, dance, drama, and other artistic activities, proving that the youth are unmatched in these fields. School Education and Transport Minister Shri Uday Pratap Singh emphasized the ongoing efforts to improve school education in Madhya Pradesh. He highlighted the state’s focus on infrastructural development, modernization, digital education, and adapting education to meet the future needs of students. He assured that no effort would be spared in improving government schools, ensuring that students in these schools would not fall behind.
In his welcome address, School Education Secretary Dr. Sanjay Goyal shared that the sixth edition of Anugunj has become a significant platform for showcasing the artistic expressions of government school students. The programme provides students with an opportunity to perform in various art forms such as songs, music, theatre, drama, and more. Dr. Goyal noted that Anugunj has grown in popularity, with students eagerly awaiting it every year. Commissioner of Public Instruction Smt. Shilpa Gupta expressed her gratitude to everyone involved in the event.
The programme was attended by Bhopal Mayor Smt. Malti Rai, Municipal Corporation Chairman Shri Kishan Suryavanshi, Director of Public Instruction Shri K.K. Dwivedi, along with other officers from the School Education Department, participating students, their parents, and the audience.
