Governor Patel : Honouring talents is an initiative to give vision to the society

Governor Patel said that the honoured personalities are the flag bearers of outstanding work. Their excellent work gives the society confidence and vision to face challenges. Future generations follow their path and make the society dynamic and vibrant. He said that honouring the talents of the society is indeed an important task towards making the society proud, building a healthy society and a strong nation. It is the responsibility of the society from both moral and social perspectives to guide the future talents.
Governor Mangubhai Patel was addressing the Madhya Pradesh Ratna Award ceremony organised by Press Club Bhopal at Ravindra Bhavan. Shankaracharya Swami Vasudevanand Ji was also present in the programme. At the outset, the guests inaugurated the programme by garlanding the picture of Maa Saraswati and lighting the lamp. Guests were welcomed by presenting Tulsi sapling. Governor Shri Patel was felicitated by the President of Press Club Madhya Pradesh, Shri Naveen Anand Joshi, by presenting shrifal and souvenir.
Governor Patel said that we all can see that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the world has acknowledged our democratic institutions, economic strength, scientific skills, culture and diversity, but in our efforts to build a strong nation, we still face challenges of terrorism and disruptive forces.
Governor Patel, Along with economic empowerment of women and high standards, it is also necessary to further expand efforts for justice and development opportunities for the deprived sections of the society. He expressed hope that the honoured distinguished personalities would lead efforts to integrate communities from relatively disadvantaged and backward sections into the mainstream of society for their inclusive development by providing support and guidance. He wished that the ceremony will be successful in enhancing positivity in the society and inspiring the society, especially the youth, for excellent work.
Governor Patel said that he is very happy with the participation of media in social concerns, he is overwhelmed by the work of these personalities. He has got the opportunity to honour such talents. He considers himself fortunate. He hailed the media’s participation in social concerns. Referring to the Chief Minister’s visit to Europe, he said that the sharing of intellectual and ideological views regarding the development of Madhya Pradesh by scholars and thinkers from across the country during the programme was an initiative to help further increase the pace of efforts for the progress and prosperity of the state.
During the programme, Governor Patel presented Madhya Pradesh Ratna Awards to retired Vice Admiral Shri Vimal Verma, Padma Shri dance guru Dr. Puru Dadhich, famous TV anchor Shri Sumit Awasthi, textile industry entrepreneur Shri Gautam Kothari, film and drama actor Shri Sharad Saxena, educationist Dr. S.P. Gautam, Everest winner mountaineer Smt. Jyoti Ratre, theatre artist senior actor Shri Rajiv Verma and famous literary writer Dr. Ramesh Nirmal.
Governor Patel honoured Major Aniket Chaturvedi of Indian Army, Head of Maharishi University Brahmachari Girish Verma, Bureau Chief ANI News Agency Shri Sandeep Kumar Singh, social worker educationist Shri Jai Narayan Chouksey, Executive Vice Chairman AISECT Group Shri Siddharth Chaturvedi, industrialist Rohit Govind Somani, social worker educationist Dr. Davish Jain, Senior Correspondent Dainik Newspaper, Patrika Shri Dipesh Awasthi, young talented writer Divyansh Vyas and Sushri Megha Dixit with Madhya Pradesh Pratibha Award.
