Mp News: An April Fool’s Day joke turned tragic when an 18-year-old student in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, died while feigning to hang himself while on a video conversation with a buddy, according to authorities on Tuesday.
The victim, identified as Abhishek Raghuvanshi, was at his home on Monday when the event happened, according to an official.
April 1st is observed as April Fool’s Day, when individuals pull practical jokes on their acquaintances, relatives, and coworkers.
“On Monday, Raghubani pretended to be suicidal by making a video call to a buddy while wearing a noose around his neck. However, he died as a result of the prank because the stool he was standing on slipped, trapping him in midair and tightening the noose around his neck “Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Rajesh Dandotia stated.

He mentioned that Raghuvanshi was the son of a sub divisional magistrate (SDM)’s driver.
According to Dandotia, the scene of the event has been blocked off, and a post-mortem examination of the student is underway.
All possible explanations for Raghuvanshi’s death are being looked into, the official stated.
