MP NEWS : Chief Secretary Shri Anurag Jain conducted a comprehensive review of various departments at the Ministry on Wednesday, evaluating the progress of departmental plans for the financial year 2024-25 and outlining targets for 2025-26.
He assessed the current status of target achievements for FY 2024-25 and instructed officials to ensure timely implementation of necessary measures to meet the objectives for FY 2025-26.
During the meeting, he carried out a detailed review of departmental work plans under Vision@2047 and held extensive discussions on the implementation of the government’s key initiative, “Garib, Annadata, Yuva & Nari” mission. Additionally, he assessed the progress of commitments outlined in the Sankalp Patra (Resolution Document) and emphasized the timely execution of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav’s priority projects.
The Chief Secretary also reviewed the progress of flagship schemes sponsored by the Central Government, including the status of utilization certificates and fund requests to be submitted to the central government.
Key Discussions and Directives
Several critical issues, including public grievance redressal, interdepartmental coordination, and legislative matters, were addressed. Chief Secretary Jain reviewed pending CS Monitor cases, semi-official letters from the Government of India, newspaper reports, CM Helpline cases, e-Office, CPGRAMS, Assembly Questions & Assurances, and CAG reports, issuing necessary directives for their effective resolution.
He also assessed the status of interdepartmental committee meetings under his chairmanship and directed officials to ensure timely follow-ups.
Focus on Human Resource Development
A significant portion of the meeting was dedicated to human resource-related issues, including recruitment, training under Mission Karmayogi, and the resolution of legal cases. Chief Secretary Jain underscored the importance of continuous implementation and periodic reviews to guarantee the timely achievement of FY 2025-26 targets.
The meeting was attended by Additional Chief Secretaries, Principal Secretaries, Secretaries, and Heads of Departments.
