MP NEWS : Cooperative Minister Shri Vishwas Kailash Sarang emphasized the importance of embracing Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s message of cleanliness by maintaining a clean work environment. He stated that cleanliness fosters positivity and should be practiced not only at home but also in workplaces through regular cleanliness drives. On Thursday, he launched the Swabhaav Swachhata, Sanskar Swachhata campaign under the International Cooperative Year-2025 by leading a cleaning initiative at the Apex Bank headquarters. Simultaneously, the campaign was conducted in over 10,000 cooperative institutions across the state.
Cleanliness in Conduct and Culture
Minister Shri Sarang highlighted that the International Cooperative Year-2025 aims to enhance, develop, and rebuild the nation through cooperative efforts. He stressed that fostering a positive and meaningful work culture requires not just physical cleanliness but also cleanliness in conduct and values. This year is dedicated to building a Viksit Bharat (Developed India) through cooperation.
Organized Records and Workplace Cleanliness
During his visit to the Apex Bank headquarters, Minister Shri Sarang inspected branch offices, the clearing section, and record rooms, instructing officials to ensure proper electrical arrangements to prevent mishaps. He directed that obsolete materials be disposed of as per regulations and warned that he may conduct surprise inspections at any time. He urged all employees to maintain systematic records and keep their workplaces clean. He also advised drivers to maintain vehicle cleanliness and lift operators to ensure hygienic conditions inside lifts. The Swachhata Abhiyan aims to engage as many people as possible in cleanliness efforts, in line with the vision of the Prime Minister and the Union Cooperative Minister for the International Cooperative Year-2025.
Customer Satisfaction and Appreciation
During his visit, Minister Shri Sarang interacted with customers to assess employee conduct and service quality. He expressed satisfaction upon receiving positive feedback regarding the bank’s services.
