Amritsar: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Wednesday interacted with pilgrims during the ongoing Shukrana Yatra while travelling towards Sri Amritsar Sahib. The Chief Minister made a brief stop at a toll plaza to meet devotees travelling under the Mukhyamantri Tirth Yatra Yojana, which provides free pilgrimage visits to religious places.
The interaction highlighted the government’s outreach efforts under the Tirth Yatra Yojana, as CM Mann personally met passengers and took feedback about their journey.
Mukhyamantri Tirth Yatra Yojana Sees Direct Interaction at Toll Plaza
During the stop, a bus carrying elderly pilgrims under the Tirth Yatra Yojana was halted so that the Chief Minister could speak directly with the beneficiaries.
CM Mann interacted with the devotees, asked about their experience, and listened to their views regarding the free pilgrimage facility. The moment became a key highlight of the Mukhyamantri Tirth Yatra Yojana implementation on ground.

Elderly Devotees Thank CM Under Mukhyamantri Tirth Yatra Yojana
As part of the Tirth Yatra Yojana, senior citizens expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Chief Minister for enabling them to visit sacred religious sites without any financial burden.
