In a recent post on X, Namita Thapar shared an emotional video addressing the backlash she has been receiving for the past three weeks. She revealed that both she and her mother were subjected to abusive language after her video on Namaz went viral.

Namita Thapar clarified that as a healthcare professional, she has also created content on Hindu practices like Yoga and Surya Namaskar, highlighting their health benefits, but did not face similar criticism then.
Namita Thapar defends her statement
Speaking further, Namita Thapar emphasized that her intention was purely educational and health-based. She said her content on Namaz focused on its physical and mental health benefits, including flexibility, digestion support, improved blood circulation, and mental calmness due to its meditative nature.
Namita Thapar also stressed that respect should be a core value in discussions around religion and women, adding that she will continue to speak up against injustice.
Strong message to trolls
In her video, Namita directly addressed her critics and stated that disrespecting women and spreading hate is unacceptable. She added that she believes in speaking up rather than staying silent in the face of wrongdoing.
Namita also warned trolls by referencing karma and said that continued abuse will have consequences, adding, “God is watching you all.”
