Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini stated that our society has a long-standing culture of generously donating to social causes, whenever any noble cause is initiated.
The Chief Minister was addressing a gathering organised by the Jat Kalyan Sabha at Alpine Convent School, Sector 10, Gurugram. Before his address, he laid the foundation stone for the Jat Kalyan Sabha building.
The Building is for all communities of the society
Congratulating the Jat Kalyan Sabha, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said that the building will serve all communities of society. The Haryana government stands firmly with the people. He expressed his happiness at the opportunity to lay the foundation stone for this building and announced a financial assistance of Rs. 31 lakh from his discretionary fund for the construction of the building. Addressing the demand for parking space, the Chief Minister assured that the Haryana government will fulfil this request as per its policy.
Participate in ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign actively
Talking about the forthcoming 78th Independence day the Chief Minister urged the citizens to participate in the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ Campaign actively initiated by Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi and said that the long struggle of our freedom fighters endured to secure the freedom we enjoy today. It is our collective responsibility to make this campaign a success. We should all actively participate in this campaign to strengthen the idea of ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’, the Chief Minister added.
Plant saplings and nurture them for environmental conservation
Expressing his concern over the decreasing greenery and rising temperatures, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini stated that Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi has envisioned “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” during the monsoon season to combat air pollution. He appealed to the citizens to participate in this campaign and take a pledge to plant and nurture trees at our homes, nearby parks, or along roadsides. The Forest Department will provide saplings for this purpose.
Double-Engine Government has driven development in Mission Mode
The Chief Minister said that under the able leadership of Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi, both the central government and the state government, termed as the “double-engine government,” have driven rapid development in mission mode over the past 10 years. Today, every district in the state is connected by national highways. In the case of Gurugram, one can reach Mumbai in 14 hours and Katra in 6 to 7 hours. He also mentioned several steps taken by the government for the welfare of farmers.
While addressing the gathering,MP, Sh. Dharambir Singh said that any institution can only sustain itself for a long time if it is driven by good objectives. He urged the sabha members to make efforts to involve more citizens with this so that the children of society receive proper guidance. The MP also announced financial assistance of Rs. 21 lakh for the construction of the building.
Rajya Sabha MP, Sh. Subhash Barala said that the Jat Kalyan Sabha has taken on the responsibility of constructing the largest Jat building in Delhi-NCR. He expressed confidence that once completed, this building would prove beneficial for all communities.
Presiding over the event, former minister and BJP National Secretary, Sh. Om Prakash Dhankar, said that while the building is being constructed by the Jat Kalyan Sabha, it will always be open to people from all communities.With the support of all communities in the construction of this building, it will become an exemplary symbol of social harmony in the future, he added.
OSD to the Chief Minister, Sh. Virendra Badkhalsa, President, Jat Kalyan Sabha, Sh. Pritam Singh and other executive members of the Sabha, officers of the district administration and other dignitaries also remained present during the programme.
