Sony Entertainment Television and SonyLIV have announced a new mytho-fiction series inspired by the life, teachings and spiritual experiences associated with Neem Karoli Baba. The announcement comes soon after the strong box-office performance of the devotional film ‘Hanuman Ansh’.

The streaming platform has released a first-look promo, but details about the cast, storyline and release date are still under wraps.

Neem Karoli Baba Series Promo Released

SonyLIV shared a mysterious promo on social media, offering viewers a glimpse into the spiritual world surrounding Neem Karoli Baba. The teaser features references to Lord Hanuman along with the saint’s iconic shawl.

The voiceover hints at extraordinary stories and experiences connected with Neem Karoli Baba, creating curiosity about what the upcoming series will explore.

SonyLIV confirmed through its social media post that the series will be available soon on SonyLIV and Sony Entertainment Television.

When Will the Neem Karoli Baba Series Release?

The makers have not announced an official premiere date yet. Information regarding the number of episodes, cast members and detailed storyline is also awaited.

‘Hanuman Ansh’ Performs Strongly at the Box Office

The announcement follows the theatrical success of ‘Hanuman Ansh’, which was released on August 7. The film initially opened with modest collections but gained momentum after receiving positive audience reactions and strong word-of-mouth support.

According to reports, the film, made on a budget of around ₹2 crore, has crossed the ₹400 crore mark worldwide. Its domestic earnings have also reportedly crossed ₹300 crore net.

What Is ‘Hanuman Ansh’ About?

Directed by Dr Vishal Chaturvedi, ‘Hanuman Ansh’ draws inspiration from the life and philosophy of Neem Karoli Baba, popularly known among his followers as Maharaj Ji.

The film is adapted from Chaturvedi’s book ‘Divine Detour: That Changed My Life’. Shobhinaw Satyaa and Chandan Anand play key roles, while Anil Rastogi, Sugandha Malhotra, Bhagvandas Patel, Neha Paranjpe, Udaysinh Rajput, Purnima Tiwari and Gautam Tripathi are also part of the cast.

Neem Karoli Baba, widely known as Maharaj Ji, was a prominent Indian spiritual figure of the 20th century. His teachings are associated with devotion, service and compassion, while numerous spiritual stories and experiences have become part of the traditions surrounding his followers.
