Newly elected Chief Minister Nitish Kumar took oath for the 10th time, reaffirming his commitment to transform Bihar into one of India’s most developed states. Addressing the gathering at his oath-taking ceremony, Kumar said the NDA government in Bihar will work with full dedication alongside the Central Government to fulfill its promises.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi graced the occasion, along with Union Home Minister Amit Shah, several Chief Ministers from across India, Union Ministers, and other dignitaries. Expressing gratitude, CM Nitish Kumar posted on X: “I extend my heartfelt thanks to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji for gracing the oath-taking ceremony today. I warmly welcome Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah ji, esteemed Chief Ministers, Union Ministers, distinguished guests, and special attendees.”

CM Kumar emphasized that the NDA government will focus on all-round development, leveraging both state initiatives and Central support. He stated, “With the cooperation and blessings of the people of Bihar, we will ensure Bihar joins the ranks of India’s most developed states.”
Kumar is now recognized as one of the country’s longest-serving Chief Ministers, holding office for over 19 years cumulatively.
