NRI Affairs Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal today chaired the fifth online NRI Milnee at Punjab Civil Secretariat-1, where he personally listened to the issues and complaints of NRI Punjabis via video conferencing.
Minister Kuldeep stated that, under the visionary leadership of Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann, this unique initiative was launched to effectively address the concerns of Punjabi NRIs. Punjab stands out as the only state in the country to implement such a dedicated platform for resolving NRI grievances.
Minister Kuldeep shared that 542 complaints were received during the previous four online NRI Milnees, of which 488 have already been resolved. In today’s session, 82 new complaints were registered — 63 via email and 19 through WhatsApp.
He urged NRI Punjabis to share their concerns via email at nriminister2023@gmail.com or on WhatsApp at 9056009884, assuring prompt resolution of their issues.
Reaffirming his commitment, Minister Kuldeep said he is always available to support and assist NRI Punjabis and encouraged them to meet him personally at their convenience for any issue.
The online session was also attended by Additional Chief Secretary Dilip Kumar, AIG Ajinder Singh of the Punjab Police NRI Wing, and other officials from the NRI Affairs Department.
