On a positive note, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann attends ‘At Home’ function hosted by Punjab Governor on Republic Day

The Punjab Governor and Administrator, Union Territory, Chandigarh, Banwari Lal Purohit hosted the ‘At Home’ function in the lawns of Punjab Raj Bhavan, Chandigarh on the occasion of Republic Day of India, on Friday.

The function began at around 4.00 pm with the arrival of the Governor who was given a ceremonial welcome by a police band.

On this occasion, Punjab Raj Bhavan was decorated tastefully wherein eminent people from different walks of life and sections of the society gathered. The Governor greeted the guests and exchanged pleasantries with them.

During the function, the Foundation Day of Union Territory of Dadra-Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu was also celebrated. The Governor extended his heartfelt greetings to all present and the countrymen on the foundation day of Dadra-Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu.

On this occasion, a beautiful cultural performance of music and dance was presented by the artists of North Zone Cultural Center (NZCC).

On a positive note, Punjab CM attends ‘At Home’ function hosted by Punjab Governor on Republic Day . This Republic day, the function is attended by Punjab chief minister Bhagwant Singh Mann. Last year he skipped the ‘At Home’ function, reception in honour to President of India’s visit at Chandigarh due to differences with the governor.
