AAP leader Saurabh Bharadwaj exposes BJP minister’s role in Palam Fire Incident; raises questions on fire department negligence and official accountability.
Delhi’s tragic Palam Fire Incident on 18th March claimed the lives of nine people, raising serious questions about the response of the administration. While the government stated that the SDM has initiated an investigation, no concrete results have been made public yet.
Senior AAP leader Saurabh Bharadwaj criticized BJP Minister Ashish Sood for his handling of the situation. He pointed out that in the Palam Fire Incident, both the Chief Minister and the minister became self-appointed investigating officers, issuing statements and reports before the official investigation could conclude.
Bharadwaj highlighted that similar behavior was observed previously, such as when a young man died after falling into a pit in Janakpuri, and the minister immediately released his own report. In the Palam Fire Incident, allegations are being made against the Fire Department for failing to save nine lives, yet the minister allegedly shifted the blame to the victims’ families.
