Dan Rivera, 54, was a senior lead investigator with the New England Society for Psychic Research (NESPR), an organization closely associated with legendary paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren. His sudden passing raised questions among supernatural enthusiasts due to the eerie timing—coming immediately after a paranormal tour in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, that featured Annabelle, a doll long believed by some to be demonically possessed.
However, according to an official statement released Thursday, September 4, by Adams County Coroner Francis Dutrow, Rivera’s death was cardiac-related and has been ruled natural. Dutrow confirmed that Rivera had a known history of heart issues, which were consistent with autopsy findings.
