“Not My Circus”: Paris Jackson Distances Herself from Father’s Biopic
Paris Jackson, daughter of the late King of Pop Michael Jackson, has publicly criticised the upcoming 2026 biopic Michael, calling it “sugar-coated” and denying any personal involvement in the film. Her comments come just days after actor Colman Domingo, who portrays Joe Jackson in the film, claimed she was “supportive” of the production.

Taking to Instagram, the 27-year-old singer and actress firmly rejected Domingo’s remarks, writing:
“Don’t be telling people I was ‘helpful’ on the set of a movie I had zero per cent involvement in lol that is so weird.”
Paris Jackson further revealed that she had read an early version of the script and provided feedback, particularly pointing out inaccuracies and elements that didn’t sit right with her. However, she alleges those notes were ignored by the filmmakers.
“I read one of the first drafts of the script and gave my notes about what was dishonest / didn’t sit right with me, and when they didn’t address it, I moved on with my life,” she said. “Not my monkeys, not my circus. God bless and God speed.”
