PM Mega Textile Park: The procedures pertaining to the Rs 500 crore project for the Integrated Textile and Apparel Park in the Dhar district, which has been sanctioned by the Textile Ministry, should be finished as soon as possible, according to Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav. In order to meet the goal of hiring over 25,000 workers by the time 21 units are completed in PM Mega Textile Park, the relevant agencies must promptly complete their tasks. On Monday, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav visited Mantralaya to assess the work being done by the Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion Department. Dr. Yadav, the Chief Minister, issued directives for the creation of an integrated industry development strategy. During the discussion, the suggested industrial policy was also covered.

According to Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, permission has been granted by multiple Central Government ministries to develop various industrial units in Madhya Pradesh. For these projects to be implemented, work must be completed quickly. Over a lakh people will be employed by the anticipated Rs 35 thousand crore in big projects in Pithampur, Ratlam. Over 3200 acres are envisaged for the development of the Indore-Pithampur Economic Corridor. About one lakh people would be employed by this project, which has a value of Rs 2125 crore. Additionally, around 5,000 workers would be employed by the Multimodal Logistics Park in Indore. It will set you back Rs. 20,000 crores. A sum of Rs 100 crore has been sanctioned by the Indian government for the Medical Device Park located in the Vikrampuri Industrial Area in Ujjain. Here, Rs 225 crore is being spent on infrastructure projects across 360 acres. 28 units have been assigned 71.83 acres of land in the last six months. Here, jobs for over 4500 individuals will be available. Additionally, the procedure of buying medical equipment is now in progress. Similarly, in the past six months, 58 additional industrial enterprises in Ujjain’s Vikrampuri Industrial Area have received 459.24 acres of land. This industrial area has been cleared for a total investment of Rs 5407.59 crore. Approximately 15,000 individuals in need will be employed.

The establishment of industries focused on creating jobs is being prioritized in the state. 2025 is set to be commemorated as the Year of Industry. A planned Investors Summit is scheduled for January 2025. There will be regional industrial summits hosted around the state at different locations. In order to attract more industrial investment to the state, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav will meet with businessmen in India’s largest cities. The state will host a national conference on space technologies as well. During the meeting, it was announced that, with the support of MAPCOST and other organizations such as ISRO, youth-oriented events in the business and industry sector will take place.

Dr. Yadav, the chief minister, suggested that the Industry Department start working on operating retirement homes and organizing religious travel. Senior housing facilities ought to be built at Datia, Orchha, and other state locations connected to religious tourism. Multi-story building arrangements can also be built for this, and tax breaks should be granted to the organizations who collaborate in this area.

The conference was informed that the state’s 78 industrial units will shortly have their inauguration and bhoomi pujan. In addition to the progress of the Regional Industry Conclave-2024, which took place in Ujjain on March 1 and 2, the meeting also evaluated the outcomes of the Industry Summit that was conducted the previous year. The meeting was attended by senior officers such as Chief Secretary Smt. Veera Rana, Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister’s Office, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister’s Office, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister and Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion Department, Shri Raghavendra Kumar Singh, and others.

7 The state should place more emphasis on the development of industries that provide jobs.
