Prime Minister Narendra Modi has introduced a new slogan, “We Will Do It,” while outlining his vision of transforming India into a developed nation by 2047. PM Modi said the vision of a developed India should be backed by confidence and collective action. He called on citizens to believe that the country can achieve its targets rather than viewing them as distant possibilities.
He listed several national ambitions alongside the slogan, including achieving developed-country status by 2047, becoming one of the world’s top three economies, attaining self-reliance, emerging as a global manufacturing hub and hosting the Olympic Games.

‘India Has 140 Crore Solutions’
Addressing the issue of social divisions, PM Modi said one of the major challenges before the country is the tendency to divide society on the basis of votes.
He asked whether problems such as inadequate irrigation or electricity affect only a particular caste or community. According to him, issues affecting citizens collectively require solutions that benefit everyone.
The prime minister said India may face difficulties, but its population itself represents a vast pool of solutions. He emphasised that the combined efforts of citizens can help the country move towards its long-term development objectives.
Focus on Self-Reliance and Made-in-India
PM Modi also referred to the importance of strengthening India’s domestic manufacturing capabilities. While speaking about the country’s aviation ambitions, he mentioned Captain Smit Machchhar, an Indian pilot with flydubai who reportedly prevented an attempt to crash an Israel-bound flight despite being stabbed.
Modi said the incident had drawn international attention to an Indian pilot and expressed confidence that a time would come when the world would also recognise aircraft manufactured in India.
He stressed that the country’s larger development ambitions would require innovative policies as well as sustained hard work.
‘Viksit Bharat’ Goal for 2047
PM Modi said the dream of a developed India that citizens are witnessing today can become a reality. He pointed to India’s demographic growth and said the country now has more than 140 crore people who can contribute to the transformation of the nation.
He expressed confidence that India will achieve the goal of becoming a developed country by 2047, describing “We Will Do It” as a message of determination and collective confidence.
25 Years at the Helm of Government
The address also marked a major milestone in PM Modi’s political journey. He has served continuously as a head of government since October 7, 2001, beginning with his tenure as Gujarat Chief Minister and later serving as Prime Minister of India.
He said that when he took oath as Gujarat Chief Minister on October 7, 2001, he had not imagined that his political journey would reach such a milestone.
Reflecting on the occasion, he expressed gratitude to the people of India for placing their trust in him. He said he considers the people to be like God and described BJP workers as a source of strength.
Gratitude to Allies and Democratic Institutions
PM Modi also thanked his colleagues in the BJP and the NDA, along with everyone who has deep respect for democratic values.
