Pranav Constructions shares made a strong debut on the stock market on Tuesday, listing at ₹165 per share on the NSE. This represents a 33% premium over the company’s IPO issue price of ₹124.
On the BSE, the stock started trading at ₹162 per share, translating into a gain of around 30.6% compared with the issue price.
Pranav Constructions Stock Makes Strong Market Debut
The listing performance of Pranav Constructions shares came after an overwhelming response to the company’s public issue. The ₹351 crore IPO was subscribed approximately 121 times overall, reflecting strong demand from investors.
The company had fixed the IPO price band between ₹118 and ₹124 per share, with the upper end ultimately becoming the issue price.
Despite the strong opening, market analysts cautioned investors about the stock’s sharp movements following the listing.
Analyst Advises Investors Against Chasing Gains
Shivani Nyati, Head of Wealth at Swastika Investmart Ltd, said the initial performance of Pranav Constructions shares was followed by a significant correction. According to her assessment, the movement reflected profit booking and elevated volatility after the strong listing.
She highlighted the company’s exposure to Mumbai’s Western Suburbs, its growth trajectory and what she described as a reasonable IPO valuation as key positives.
However, Nyati advised investors not to chase the stock after the sharp listing gains. Existing shareholders, she said, could consider holding the stock with a stop-loss level of ₹130–132.
For fresh investors, her recommendation was to wait for the stock to stabilise before considering a new position.

IPO Received 121 Times Subscription
The strong debut followed an exceptional response during the subscription period. The ₹351 crore Pranav Constructions IPO was subscribed around 121 times in total.
Before the public issue opened, the company had also raised ₹84.24 crore from anchor investors on Friday, indicating strong institutional interest.
The IPO was offered within a price band of ₹118 to ₹124 per share.
Fresh Issue and OFS Details
The public issue consisted of a fresh issue worth ₹315.6 crore. Alongside this, an offer-for-sale component involved 28.5 lakh equity shares worth approximately ₹35.43 crore.
The OFS was offered by investor shareholder BioUrja India Infra.
The combination of strong subscription demand and the company’s business presence in Mumbai helped build investor interest ahead of the listing.
What Should Investors Watch Next?
The sharp opening of Pranav Constructions shares has placed the stock under the spotlight, but the subsequent correction highlights the volatility that can follow a strong IPO debut.
Investors will now be watching whether the stock can maintain its premium over the issue price or undergo further profit booking. For new investors, analysts suggest monitoring price stability and market trends rather than rushing into the stock following its initial gains.
The performance of Pranav Constructions shares in the sessions ahead will therefore be important in determining whether the strong listing translates into sustained investor interest.
