Following the temple visit, Prime Minister Modi toured the Shivaji Meditation Center, a memorial complex featuring models of four historic forts—Pratapgarh, Rajgarh, Raigad, and Shivneri—each situated at the corners of the center. At the heart of the complex stands an imposing statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji in deep meditation. The center was established by the Shivaji Memorial Committee to commemorate the historic 1677 pilgrimage of Shivaji Maharaj to this sacred site.
Later in the day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will travel to Kurnool, where he will inaugurate and lay foundation stones for several development projects across vital sectors including electricity, defense, railways, and petroleum. These initiatives are expected to significantly boost the region’s infrastructure and economic growth.
Additionally, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address a public meeting titled ‘Super GST – Super Savings,’ aimed at educating citizens on the benefits and recent reforms in the Goods and Services Tax (GST) system, underscoring the government’s commitment to economic reforms and inclusive growth.
