Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann on Sunday said that the state government is making continuous efforts to make the youth active participants in the socio-economic development of Punjab.
Addressing the youth during the Inter-Zoneal Youth Fair at the Agricultural University, Ludhiana, the Chief Minister said that the youth have the potential to achieve success in every field and their talent should be properly utilized. He said that students and youth are like airplanes and the state government will provide them a launchpad to move ahead in life. Bhagwant Singh Mann made it clear that the students of Punjab will not rest until they achieve their set goals.
CM Bhagwant Mann said that every possible effort is being made to give wings to the ideas of the youth and no stone will be left unturned for this noble cause. Bhagwant Singh Mann urged the youth to make continuous efforts to create their own identity in the society. He appealed to the youth not to be proud of their victories but to work with humility and work hard for success.
The Chief Minister said that it is a matter of pride for him to come here because he is the product of such a youth fair. Recalling his college days, he said that youth fairs serve as an important platform to enhance the overall personality of a person.He said that these fairs not only helped him succeed as an artist but also as a politician.
CM Bhagwant Mann said that the youth should use these platforms for overall development.
Bhagwant Singh Mann told That he also performed in various youth fairs and won trophies for his college. He said that winning was his only passion and he always had the motivation to win with positive thinking.
The Chief Minister called upon the youth to give their best performance as in the end it is the performance that counts. Bhagwant Singh Mann advised the youth to persevere and continue working hard even after success,
The Chief Minister also informed that his father was a science teacher and wanted him to excel in the educational field. But due to his passion for art and culture he became successful in this field.He urged the youth to respect old friendships, relationships and teachers, no matter what heights they reach.
To make Punjab a globally leading state, the Chief Minister appealed to the youth to play an active role and support the state government.He said that the youth of Punjab have immense strength and talent, which has always inspired the state to remain a leader in the country. He said that now the time has come for the youth to contribute positively to the socio-economic development of the state and society.Bhagwant Singh Mann said that the Punjab government is committed to the welfare and progress of the state and no stone will be left unturned in this noble cause.
Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann said that his predecessor leaders never participated in such programs as they did not care about the welfare of the youth. But his government is giving top priority to overall youth development, for which he is attending such gatherings without wasting any time. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that no stone is being left unturned for the welfare of the youth and there is no dearth of funds for this.
On the occasion, on the demand of the students, the CM along with his college friend and artist Karamjeet Anmol enthralled the audience by reciting famous Punjabi poet Sant Ram Udasi’s poem “Magda Rahi Ve Surja Kamiyaan De Vihde” from the stage. He said that this revolutionary poem is very close to his heart, as he used to recite it in various competitions during his college days. Remembering my earlier days, The Chief Minister recited poetry from the stage for two minutes and kept the audience engaged. During this, the students, teachers and other dignitaries present there praised this rare presentation of the Chief Minister.
