Punjab Government launches Pensioner Service Fair in Mohali; pensioners can complete e-KYC and access digital pension services from home.

In a major relief for pensioners, the Punjab Government has launched the “Pensioner Service Fair” at the District Treasury Office in Mohali from 13th to 15th November. The initiative aims to provide seamless digital services to all pensioners in the district and assist them in registering on the newly launched “Pensioner Service Portal.”

According to Renuka Katyal, District Treasury Officer, Mohali, the government introduced a one-stop digital platform on 3rd November to streamline all pension-related services. Pensioners are required to complete their e-KYC (electronic Know Your Customer) process to register successfully on the portal and access its services.

Key Services Available at the Pensioner Service Fair

The Pensioner Service Portal offers six primary services for registered users:

1. Digital Life Certificate Submission – Submit a life certificate via mobile app.

2. Conversion to Family Pension – Apply to convert regular pension to family pension.

3. Leave Travel Concession (LTC) Application – Submit applications for LTC.

4. Pension-Related Grievances – Register complaints and track resolutions.

5. Update Personal Details – Modify or update personal information.

6. E-KYC Registration – Complete secure identity verification via Aadhaar authentication.

Pensioners can visit Room No. 257, First Floor, District Administrative Complex, Sector-76, Mohali during the fair to complete their registration and experience the digital pension services firsthand. Once registered, pensioners can access all services from the comfort of their homes using mobile phones, computers, or laptops.
