Punjab Govt has announced a dedicated series of events titled “Rising Punjab – Suggestions to Solution” under Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann’s Udyog Kranti vision.

Punjab Govt:  Led by Industries & Commerce–cum–Investment Promotion Minister Sh. Sanjeev Arora, the initiative aims to promote awareness about Punjab’s new industry-friendly policies while creating a direct platform for dialogue between the government and industrial stakeholders. The first event in this series will be held in Amritsar on 19 August 2025.

Focus Areas

Cabinet Minister Sh. Sanjeev Arora shared that the events will showcase key reforms introduced by the Department of Industries & Commerce, PSIEC, and the Department of Investment Promotion. Stakeholders will be briefed on how they can benefit from various policies such as Clubbing/De-clubbing Policy, Plot Fragmentation Policy, Restoration of Cancelled Plots through Appellate Authority, Leasehold to Freehold Policy, and the One Time Settlement (OTS) Scheme for pending dues.

Highlighting the vision behind the initiative, Sh. Arora said, “Rising Punjab is not just about policies—it is about listening to industries, addressing their concerns, and working together on real solutions. Our goal is to transform Punjab into a hub of opportunities for investors and entrepreneurs by ushering in an Udyog Kranti.”
