PUNJAB NEWS : The Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (GMADA) has successfully conducted the numbering draw for the allocation of booths and shops designated for motor mechanics in Sector 65, near Village Kambali, SAS Nagar. This initiative aims to enhance transparency and efficiency in the distribution of commercial spaces.
Housing and Urban Development Minister Hardip Singh Mundia, while addressing the Vidhan Sabha during question hour, disclosed that GMADA has applied for the project’s registration with the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA). He stated that allotment letters for these booths and shops will be issued once the project is officially registered with RERA, in accordance with regulatory guidelines. His response came in reply to a query raised by MLA Kulwant Singh regarding the allotment of the Motor Market developed by GMADA in SAS Nagar.
The Cabinet Minister further assured the House that GMADA remains committed to following all regulatory protocols to ensure a fair and transparent allotment process. He confirmed that the allotment letters will be issued promptly upon the project’s RERA registration.
